Moving a customer Booking & Updating the Tills
Staff & Customers could move Collins bookings between tables & this will not a problem when redeeming on tills.
However if you move the date of the booking, this will update within Collins & inform the customer by email, HOWEVER this will not update the customer booking on Aztec, we will need to update the customer booking on the back office PC.
The following guide will walk you though moving a booking from one date to another on the till system.
Situation - Original Booking Date: 13-12-23 at 15:00 Customer has moved the booking too 15-12-23 at 16:00
1. Collins - We can check under the customer History Tab.
2. Log into Aztec via the Back Office PC.
3. Navigate to Fiance > Bookings
4. With your status filter you should keep this on "Open" & Change the buisness date to the ORGINAL booking date.
5. Click on the booking
6. Within the "Booking Details" you can now change the cover count, Date & time due. once you change these click "save"
7. Once saved, the booking will have moved on the Till to the correct time & date, the booking on will still be linked on Collins thus if the customer adds to a deposit the amount will still come across.
